Tests Needed for Virginia Teacher Certification
Praxis II, VCLA and VRA (elementary only) scores are needed for inclusion in the certification package that is sent to the Virginia Department of Education. When taking the Praxis tests, please have the scores sent to the University of Richmond - code 5808.
The following Praxis or SAT/ACT scores are required to be admitted into the teacher preparation program:
