About Us

The Education Studio (formerly the Curriculum Materials Center) supports students, faculty, and staff in the Teacher Preparation Program by providing an assortment of print, instructional, and technology resources for exploration, use, and evaluation. As an environment designed for individual and small group curriculum development, study, reading, and collaboration, it plays an innovative and integral role in the educational process of pre-service educators. The Education Studio also welcomes faculty, staff, and students from the entire University community to integrate resources across disciplines or to enjoy them recreationally.

Fostering inclusive practices in educators directly impacts the lives of the children in their classrooms. The Education Studio is committed to curating a collection of materials that represent individuals from different racial backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds to support educators in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
