  • Technology Resources

Technology resources include one Apple OS X student workstation and wireless laptops that are provided for academic purposes only within the CMC. Students may access the internet on these computers, work on multimedia projects, or use programs such as Microsoft Office, iWorks, i-Life, Inspiration, Kidspiration, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and other multimedia software.

A flatbed color scanner, black/white printers, and color laser printers are also available.

    Wireless Laptops:

Wireless laptops may be reserved for in-class instructional use only within the North Court building.

A class list must be provided by the instructor in advance since all laptops will be charged to the instructor’s account.

Reserves must be made two weeks in advance by course instructors to ensure equipment is in good working order upon charge (check-out) and to avoid "double-booking."

Students are responsible for picking up and returning the laptops 15 minutes prior to and after class time.

When not reserved or being used for classes, wireless laptops may be checked out for use within CMC only.

  • Lamination Services

Lamination services are available upon request for academically related projects or student teaching materials.

All jobs are usually completed within a 24-hour period unless it is over a weekend or holiday. Notification will be by e-mail or phone when items have been laminated and are ready for pick-up.

Items MUST be submitted for lamination and approval by the CMC Director with a request form.

After approval from the CMC Director, only trained CMC staff members are permitted to complete the lamination request.

Please submit all requests to the CMC student assistant on duty.

  • Die-Cut Machine

An Ellison die-cut machine is provided for use in preparing course-related materials or instructional materials for student teaching.

The Ellison machine requires training and staff assistance prior to use.
